Our SPM Heavy Duty, Roll Turning Lathe Machine with TWIN TOOL POSTS is the amongst the most preferred machines in Steel Plants. The machine is built up of heavy C.I. Structure consisting of Heavy-Duty Head Stock, Saddle & Tail Stock. It’s a fully geared machine that means, no trouble of belt drives, belt pulley adjustments for Chuck Speed management. The Chuck’s Speed (RPM) is conveniently managed through lever shifting on the head stock. As an option, the VVFD can also be provided on request of client for variable chuck speeds.

Our Twin Tool Post Steel Mill Roll Turning Lathes are provided with 2 NOS. of TOOL POSTS on the Main Saddle that are capable of holding 2 Cutting Tools independently.

Each of the two Cutting Tools on the independent tool post can be managed by the operator to work on the different cutting length for grooving, machining etc. which ensures much faster work completion.

Metal Removal & Grooving at different length of the Roll can be carried at the same time without disturbing the roll or saddle position.
